99¢ Bottles of Beer on the Wall until October 14
All good things come to an end, and that includes this summer’s run of SawBones beer. To mark the end of the season, we’ve taken inspiration from the classic and catchy song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.” Through October 14th at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, we will be running a sale on SawBones beer. Each bottle will be only 99 cents. Whether you plan to get one bottle or a whole case, the per bottle price remains the same.
SawBones is a Civil War-inspired ginger table beer brewed by Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland. Using 19th century recipes, the experts at Flying Dog created a beer that utilizes ginger and lemon, two ingredients commonly used as herbal remedies during the Civil War era. The beer’s name was adapted from a nickname used for surgeons during the conflict.
