Hallowee-kend 2016
Blood, gore, and more.
Celebrate the spookiest month of the year in Civil War style with these three events at two of our museum sites.
Friday: Behind the Screams
October 28th | 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm | National Museum of Civil War Medicine
On this lantern-led tour of Frederick’s most haunted building, guides and volunteers will tell stories from the bloodiest American war: stories of suffering, but also tales of hope amid the horror.
Saturday: Cut It Off
October 29th | 4:00 pm | Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum
Join us as we turn the Clara Barton Missing Soldier’s Office into a makeshift operating theater for a Civil War-style amputation.
Monday: Ghost Tour
October 31st | 7:00 pm | National Museum of Civil War Medicine
Tour the most haunted building in Frederick. Learn more about the building’s history, and eerie echoes in the present.
All three events are ticketed.
