Dr. William Campbell

Dr. Campbell is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. He has been with the faculty of the Department of Nursing at SU for eighteen years and has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 35 years. He teaches undergraduate nursing courses in pediatrics, pharmacology, and the Honors course in Nursing History. Dr. Campbell attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science, completed undergraduate degrees in biology, psychology, and nursing at the University of Delaware, a masters degree in family nursing at Salisbury University as a clinical specialist, and his Doctor of Education in educational leadership at the University of Delaware. He is a member of NMCWM, has served as a docent at the Pry House and a charter member of the Barton Brigade. He is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and serves as the Co-Managing Editor of the Delaware Nurses Association Reporter. He spends much of his free time reading, researching, and speaking as a living history interpreter on topics of Civil War era medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and Fort Delaware.”
