The National Museum of Civil War Medicine is open on the following days following our Covid-19 reopening plan:
Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday – Tuesday: By Appointment (Click here for more information)
Last admittance to the galleries at 4:15 PM
This plan goes into effect on Friday, June 26.
The Museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and at 2 pm on New Year’s Eve.
Museum reopening information
The Museum will be open at reduced capacity.
Masks will be *required* for entry to the Museum per guidance from the State of Maryland.
All Museum visitors are encouraged to maintain social distance within the galleries – staff will be assisting to prevent crowding within the Museum.
