Meet historian Jonathan White and hear stories from his new children’s book.
Join us on Saturday, February 3 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum in Washington, D.C. for an afternoon of fun with author and historian Jonathan W. White. Hear stories from his new book, My Day with Abe Lincoln. The program is geared toward children, but adults are also sure to enjoy it!
Did you know that Abraham Lincoln struggled with spelling for his entire life? Or that kids teased him on his first day of school because he wore a sunbonnet? Or that he almost died several times when he was a child? Acclaimed historian Jonathan White will share these and many other stories about Abe Lincoln’s life in a program based on his children’s book My Day with Abraham Lincoln.
This event is FREE for all visitors.
The Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum is located at 437 7th St. NW, Washington D.C.
