Join us on Thursday January 28 at 1:00 PM on Facebook for a *pre-recorded* virtual program hosted by the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. You can tune in live by visiting facebook.com/civilwarmed at the scheduled time.

Education Coordinator John Lustrea will have a conversation with Park Ranger Robert Dunkerly of Richmond National Battlefield Park about the Chimborazo Record Project. Located in Richmond, Chimborazo was one of the largest hospitals in the Confederacy. Over the course of the war it treated nearly 80,000 patients. Robert Dunkerly has been managing a team of volunteers to digitize all the patient records from Chimborazo hospital. During the presentation, Mr. Dunkerly and a few of the volunteers will talk about their progress and why those patient records are so valuable.
