Please join us as we celebrate our new partnership with Distillery Lane Ciderworks! Distillery Lane Ciderworks will share samples of two hard ciders – The Encampment and Scrumpy. Light refreshments will be provided. Located just outside of historic Burkittsville, the DLC property stands on “The Encampment,” where Union soldiers camped during the Battle of Crampton’s Gap in September 1862. We are excited to begin this journey with Distillery Lane Ciderworks, an important Maryland historic property!

NMCWM Executive Staff will also make an important announcement regarding a national television project in which the NMCWM is a major part. Staff will also provide updates about our newest museum in Washington, D.C., the Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office, our new replica Civil War ambulance, our online education initiatives and future plans for the Museum in 2015.

We look forward to seeing you!
