The March meeting of the Frederick County Civil War Roundtable will NOT be taking place at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. Instead, it will take place at Trunk Hall of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at 35 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD. This special program, entitled, “Monocacy: The Battle that Saved Washington: Life at Home, on the Battlefield, and Beyond,” will feature speakers from Monocacy National Battlefield and the Historical Society of Frederick County. The program begins at 7:00 PM and admission is free.
The Frederick County Civil War Roundtable meets at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in the Delaplaine-Randall Conference Room. The meetings are free and open to the public; they occur on the third Thursday of the month. For more information contact Jack Sheriff at or visit
