Join the NMCWM Director of Research, Terry Reimer for a meet and greet with author Eileen Conklin at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine on Sunday July, 28th 2013.Women at Gettysburg-1863 Revisited  tells the story of forty women who served on the field of Gettysburg and Sanitary Commission workers. State agents, laundresses, soldiers, and civilians represented states from Maine to Louisiana. Included are the three female recipients of the Kearny Cross.
