Clara Barton’s Missing Soldiers Office was originally rediscovered by Richard Lyons of the General Services Administration (GSA) in 1996, when the building was scheduled for demolition. Located on 7th street, NW, Washington D.C., the site is the location where Clara Barton lived during and immediately after the Civil War.

A Pry House Christmas

We are happy to announce that the Pry House Field Hospital Museum will be holding a special event; a Pry House Christmas. On December 15th, from 11 AM to 4 PM, come and experience what Christmas was like during the time of the Civil War. We will have speakers and handouts. There will also be songs, decorations, and treats. You can even have your photo taken with our very own Civil War Santa Claus, Jim Tent! Fun for all ages!
