The National Museum of Civil War Medicine has assembled an impressive panel of prominent historians, authors and medical professionals to speak on a wide variety of topics at this year’s Conference.  Philadelphia has long been considered the Birthplace of American Medicine and is the forever linked to some of Civil War medicine’s luminaries; both Union and Confederate. It is the perfect location to look at medical history in this, the mid-point in our commemoration of the Civil War’s
